1940-45 studied at the State graphic school in Prague - Malá Strana
a1946-1951 studied at the Academy of Decorative Arts in Prague, studio for graphic design and typography, professors Miroslav Fikari and František Muzika
1951-1952 extended studies at the Academy
since 1933 she has lived and worked in Prague
She has been active most of all as a graphic designer, making illustrations for children´s, religious and scientific books; occasionally she also designed posters and postage stamps.
She cooperated mainly with publishing houses SNDK- Albatros, Vyšehrad, Zvon, Academia, Panton and Artia.
In 1978 she was awarded a prize for illustrations of Stanislav Trojan´s Human biology in pictures in a competition of “The most beautiful Czech book of the year”.
She has been professionally active up to present time. Currently she creates mainly own visions of dreams or transcendent landscapes and figures in techniques of gouache and aquarelle.

since 1933 he has lived and worked in Prague.
JHe has been active primarily as a graphic designer, making book covers, illustrations, typography (created two own letters and a large number of initials, calligraphic titles, logotypes and Ex libris). Occasionally he has also designed posters and postage stamps.
He has designed over 500 of book titles, especially those of religious, children's, scientific and art books. He has cooperated mainly with publishing houses SNDK-Albatros, Mladá fronta, Orbis, Vyšehrad, Zvon, Academia, Panton, Artia, recently also with Karmelitánské Nakladatelství, Trinitas and Bärenreiter.
He has been awarded several prizes: twice for his own typefonts and five times in a competition “The most beatiful book of the year” (1965-1977).
He has been professionally active up to present time.
